Electricity is the prome mover of the economic engine in any modern city. When Bhai Gopi Chand Gehlot took over as representative of Gurgaon, there was heavy scarcity of power, and voltages also fell to 140 V during peak hours.

By his continuous efforts and installation of 5 substations off 66 KVA & 220 KVA, in record time, Gurgaon has been relatively free from power problems. Comparing us with our neighboring cities, even international rating agencies have acknowledged that Gurgaon had aggressively addressed the electricity and power issue.
