Gurgaon is in a unique position - it has a fast growing urban and cosmopolitan section, and then it has the rural villages rooted in the traditional India life. Bhai Gopi Chand Gehlot is in a unique position to provide leadership to both the segments of the populations, and make sure that both move ahead together and maintain a harmonious balance.
For rural Gurgaon the Government has taken the case of Chaupals, Harijan Chaupals, old age homes, schools, rural village development, community centers, health services, and proper electricity.
Special initiatives were taken to improve Animal Health and Milk Production. Cross-breeding was key to improve the milk production in the rural areas, whcih gave additional income to the farmers , and also provided milk (an important commodity) to the city dwellers.
